Role Purpose: Design, Plan, and Execute all the necessary initiatives and activities to drive our group marketplace growth operations, in close collaboration with each of our banners. The Group Marketplace Growth Head will be responsible for setting the organization’s growth strategy, nurturing a strong merchant leads base, and benchmarking our own marketplace offering to ensure increased efficiency, competitiveness, and profitability.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities: 

  • Work with the Group Marketplace director to establish the MKP Growth framework, strategy, and goals for our next 3 years plan.  
  • Collaborate closely with sourcing and farming teams and the Marketplace leaders in each country, to support and help implement an operational process for merchant’s recruitment, onboarding, and account management through an automated process within our CRM. 
  • Responsible for building a robust B2B CRM within our marketplace business, which will allow us to scale fast across multiple marketplaces and markets, through workflow automations and reliable data.  
  • Actively lead all the marketplace growth activities necessary to prepare and rollout the marketplace business model across our banners in multiple countries (UK, FR, ES, RO, PL). 
  • Establish and steer all the Lead Generation activities and partnerships necessary to achieve our goals. 
  • Enrich data (nurturing) of our existing database in our CRM to properly qualify better our leads.  
  • Responsible for the lead generation scoring and ranking which later will be dispatched to each sourcing team within each of our banners or group sourcing team. 
  • Steer all initiatives to improve the overall price competitiveness and availability of our marketplace top selling selection. 
  • Collaborate with the Group Data, Planning Analytics & Insights, and Ecommerce teams to ensure marketplace growth in a hybrid business model.  
  • Work closely with each banner to take requirements and local needs which will be used to localize the CRM and the Marketplace growth process.  
  • Responsible for maximizing business growth through selection and merchant recruitment optimization.  

Profil recherché

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • A clear entrepreneurial mindset, creating a new business model within a large €17bn GMV organization. 
  • A skilled and experienced influencer capable of navigating large and complex organizations to generate positive change. 
  • Previous hands-on experience of creating, shaping and operating a marketplace business model and its most important core operations (e.g. e-commerce category management or account management).  
  • Proven and extensive experience (>3 years) as an operational, marketing or sales leader within a well-known and established Marketplace. (Ideally Rakuten, Alibaba, Uber, Cdiscount, ManoMano, Allegro or Etsy). 
  • Experienced B2B Manager of CRM modelling. Expected to bring experience in SaaS models such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics or Soho (at least familiar with two of those). 
  • Fluent in English and at least another of our used languages within our group (useful to set relationships) such as French, Spanish, or Polish. 
  • Excellent analytical capabilities. 
  • Strong Leadership / team management skills.  
  • Top communicator.
